This client was living with a dark and crammed kitchen! She had been dreaming of taking out the wall that divided the kitchen and dining room to make room for a big island and a bright new open concept living space.

Project Details

The entire main floor was due for an update! The wall dividing the kitchen and living room needed to come down and the finishes were worn and dated. The new open kitchen design offers plenty of storage and ample work space. The island is the perfect place for the new range, creating better work flow for food prep and cooking. It also provides a transition between the kitchen and living room and makes a great place for the kids to sit and do their homework! The natural maple cabinets offer the warmth of wood without feeling dark or heavy. We paired this finish with a painted grey island for a fresh and modern look. White quartz countertops and a wall of white subway tile complete this bright and airy kitchen.

The result is a beautiful, airy new space for a beautiful young family!
